you don’t have to have done part 1 to do this one! while part 1 was more focused on who specifically is mcyt, this one aims to take a closer look at why people may consider someone mcyt.

now to my fave minecraft worldbuilding topic
what can you cook? what's edible? what's possible with enough imagination?
I'd like to start with things that are present in-game (vanilla), first, the foods and drinks (ingredients too), having a loaf of bread with a nice mushroom stew seasoned with dandelions for breakfast is an option taken straight from the game
now let's say that I take the apples, wheat, milk, sugar and eggs to make an apple pie, that isn't in the game, but it's something possible to craft
in an extend things like salt can exist because the presence of sea water, same as things like bacon (pigs), cheese (milk) and so on
what if I throw the existing leaves in hot water to make tea?
or since all the dyes have an organic source can I make a rainbow cake?
how you cook things must be important too I imagine, maybe steak cooked in the smoker tastes way better than cooked with a fire aspect sword
cooking meat in a smoker gives it a nice flavor similar to smoked meat irl. the meat comes out tender and takes on a unique flavor from the fuel/charcoal you used (coal is not very popular for its awful taste, lava unpopular due to it being difficult to regulate its heat). a furnace can be much the same, but tends to lead to over cooking due to the high temperatures needed for smelting ores (also turning sand to glass)
setting an animal on fire, through enchantment or flint and steel is a gamble. it could come out charred and black, nearly inedible. if that happens you're lucky to get any food at all. it could be nearly blue, cooked only in the barest sense of the word. no matter what it tastes of ash and cruelty and is oft a last resort or never even considered.
if you dare to use a soul fire as a source of heat, you risk your meat reanimating and/or being possessed by a wayward soul. preferred for players who feed on souls, not at all recommended for players that are not some form of undead. living bodies shouldn't be made to house multiple souls.

Mason took a deep breath of fresh air. Pulling the short straw for the week was never really something to get excited about but stepping out into the fresh morning desert air after spending a week as a corpse was soothing. Like how it feels after a solid night’s sleep. His joints ached and his muscles were stiff but he never felt more alive than after that first breath.
“Mornin’ Mason,” Jack was sat on the steps of the saloon, “How’d you sleep?”
“I slept like the dead.” He paused and stretched out his arms over his head. He sat down and cuddled up to Jack’s side, loosely wrapping an arm over his shoulder. Jack melted into it, until he caught a wiff of the air.
“Ack, you smell like death!”
Jack always forgot about the smell that came with death and tried to lean away. Mason only grinned and held on tighter. It quickly escalated into a wrestling match. Normally, Mason would win in seconds but the recent resurrection gave Jack a fighting chance. With a bit of luck and a well timed shove, he was sent sprawling onto the ground as Jack fell onto him.
“Ha!” Jack plastered on a shit eating grin. “I won! Guess your losing your-” he was cut off as Mason pulled him down to crash their lips together. It was a terrible kiss, their teeth knocked together and knocked the wind out of both of them. Jack hardly noticed as he reeled back.
“Blegh, you taste like death too.”
Mason just laughed. It felt good to be back.

Short, but sweet. Any other AU with this prompt spells angst but this one is quite fluffy!
They did the voice acting for the last episode yesterday, I'm not ready for this show to end :(

The ship, with Thrawn as its captain, was dispatched to quell early rebel uprisings, with Lieutenant Commander KARYN FARO serving as the Chiss’ first officer. After Thrawn’s promotion to Admiral, the captaincy of the vessel was granted to a newly promoted Commander Faro, with Commander ELI N. VANTO, Thrawn’s protégé, as another one of the ship’s commanding officers. (x)
